IMPORTANT NOTES

We require a $600.00 deposit in order to hold your spot for the course.
If you start the online course prior to receiving your G1 License you will have only 3 months after starting to get your G1.
The online course is open to residents of Carleton Place, Almonte, Pakenham, Lanark, Clayton, Ashton, Perth and Smiths Falls.
For in car lessons the students will be picked up and dropped off at 19 Lake Ave West, Carleton Place, ON.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE (DDC)

$400.00

Our 5-hour Defensive Driving course is designed for drivers of all experience levels who want to improve their road safety skills and driving habits. Whether you are looking to refresh your knowledge, reduce demerit points, or simply become a more confident driver, this in-person course provides the tools you need to make better driving decisions.

Through interactive lessons, real-world scenarios, and practical discussions, you will learn how to:

Recognize and avoid potential hazards before they happen
Manage emotions and stress behind the wheel
handle adverse conditions like skids, black ice and reduced visibility
apply defensive driving techniques for both highway and city driving
improve fuel efficiency and adopt eco-driving habits

Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course, which may be used for insurance or demerit point reduction (where applicable),

DRIVER IMPROVEMENT COURSE (DIC)

Our Driver Improvement Course is a 6-hour in-person program designed to help drivers enhance their skills, correct unsafe habits, and build safer driving attitudes. Whether you have received demerit points, been referred by court, or simply want to improve your driving record, this course will help you become a more responsible and confident driver.

Through engaging discussions, videos and practical examples, you will learn how to:

Identify and change risky behavior
understand how attitude and emotions affect driving performance
improve hazard perception and decision-making
strengthen defensive driving techniques
reduce collisions and traffic violations

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Driver Improvement Certificate, which may be used for license reinstatement, demerit point reduction, or insurance benefits. (where applicable)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All no-shows and late cancellations will be charged a $65.00 fee per hour that is missed.

$50.00 discount on the full course (online or in-class) to all military members and first responders and their dependents.

Applicable fees for use of car for road test.

Ask if we serve your area; students outside of town or surrounding area must be brought to Carleton Place for in car lessons or additional pick-up fees will apply.

HST is included with all prices.
